meet the cook
Founded in 2025, Cook & Co. Events was born in Salem's oldest home by me! Hi - I'm Katrina Cook, the head Cook (host, entertainer, etc) of Cook & Co.
I am a natural born host and community cultivator. Sagittarius Sun, Gemini Rising, and Pisces Moon - thank you so much for asking. I sail in the summer, I ski in the winter, and I track the number of oysters I shuck (and eat) in a year (172 in 2025).
In October of last year I made the decision to start this event business. As most origin stories go, I was craving a way to flex my creative muscles and shake things up a bit. Thanks to the encouragement and guidance from a few close friends, I crafted my first calendar of events at the Pickering House in October, making this whole thing officially, official.
The events we offer are an extension of who I am and what I love. Each event has been carefully crafted to give you a one-of-a-kind experience, with a signature Katrina Cook twist and touch.
